| The importance of the Directorate of Archives is clear. During the last half a century it rendered invaluable service to the researchers. Dr.Renjini’s piece is a new look by a new researcher in Kerala History and Culture. It would have been better if she had incorporated more data in a book like this on State Archives Directorate. She can do it in the next edition which should be an enlarged one. I wish her all success.
